Gripping system with shank tool for laser marking
In laser material marking, the parts to be processed are mainly handled manually. This is often associated with time-consuming loading and set-up times, and the monotonous activity is very stressful for the system operator. For consistently high-quality processing results and maximum process efficiency in laser marking, ACI offers an innovative solution with the Robotic workstation. The extended handling system, consisting of a laser marking station and integrated robot arm, enables the fully automatic handling and laser marking of different components in a single pass. Objects can be marked efficiently and with high repeat accuracy on multiple sides and around the circumference using the robot arm by quickly gripping, rotating, swiveling and turning in all positions of the laser station. Depending on the application, tools with different gripping concepts are available to the robot. Several grippers can also be integrated into the laser station simultaneously to process different components in one work cycle. Depending on the component, the robot changes the gripper independently. By using different grippers, the flexible loading of a wide range of variants and series can be fully automated. The Robotic workstation will be presented with a new, customer-specific two-finger gripper system in combination with a powerful fiber laser from the Business Fiber series. Thanks to its excellent beam quality, the DFL Ventus Marker achieves outstanding marking results in the laser marking of metals and is particularly suitable for demanding applications. Additional handling, vision and code reading systems can be integrated into the laser system. The manufacturer's own Magic Mark laser software enables targeted access to all available functions and control options of the laser and its peripheral devices.
